Where Modern Meets Contemporary
Hidden Gallery to exhibit original artworks by Picasso, Hockney, Lowry & more
What happens when Modern Maestros meet Contemporary Trailblazers? This November, Hidden Gallery will be celebrating the greatest artists in 20th and 21st century art through an extraordinary exhibition of original and hand-signed works on paper. A new collection of artworks by Pablo Picasso, David Hockney, L.S. Lowry, Tracey Emin and more will be exhibited side-by-side for a limited time only, exploring the remarkable artistic movements that have shaped and defined the last century.
Hidden offers rare, limited-edition prints by the biggest household names of Modern and Contemporary art. Over the last decade, Hidden has become one of Bristol’s best-loved art destinations for both collectors and enthusiasts alike, bringing world-renowned masterpieces into the heart of the city. Every piece is chosen for its quality and story, and many of the artworks found on their gallery walls are also held in prestigious private and museum collections.
Visitors can browse and purchase hand-drawn engravings by Le Corbusier, vibrant lithographs created by Henri Matisse, and drypoints painstakingly made by Salvador Dalí. Highlights include an exhibition poster in exceptional condition by Keith Haring, signed by the artist in silver ink. The artist designed the poster for one of his landmark exhibitions in New York in 1983. Jewel-like collotypes featuring some of Gustav Klimt’s most intricate figurative studies will also be on display, created over 103 years ago.
