To Withstand and Withold
An exhibition by Bath Artists’ Studios graduate artist in residence, Amelie Wray
Amelie Wray’s practice personifies what is inately human but rarely portrayed: the mind. She challenges her audience to confront areas of discomfort that are normally hidden away, and brings thoughts and emotions to life in physical form. She advocates for mental health to be treated as equal to physical health, and encourages viewers to find themselves within the works. She invites you to find solidarity and togetherness in solitude. Amelie will be giving a talk about her work from 5pm on Sat 12th September
