THISS – The Hide Installation and Sculpture Showcase 2024
THISS2024, an immersive art event at The Hide in Gloucestershire, featuring site-specific works by eight talented artists.
Join us at The Hide for THISS2024, a unique event showcasing site-specific artworks in the breathtaking Gloucestershire landscape.
At The Hide, we’re thrilled to be hosting eight selected artists who will exhibit their works, centred around themes of fragility, temporality, and impermanence. We believe that these themes offer profound insights into the human experience, provoking contemplation and dialogue in equal measure.
The event promises to be an immersive experience, with each piece thoughtfully created in response to the site, encouraging guests to engage with both the art and the environment in new and meaningful ways. As a respected art world contributor with a keen eye for innovation and artistic expression, we would welcome your presence which would undoubtedly enrich the dialogue and contribute to the overall experience.
You are welcome to join us for refreshments and enjoy our Artists in Conversation Special Event on Saturday 15 June at 3 pm, RSVP.
THISS2024 is open to the public on 7 & 8 and 15 & 16 June – open daily from 10-6pm.
The Hide Artists Retreat, Pinfarthings, Stroud, GL5 5JJ
THISS2024 is part of and supported by SITE Festival. We suggest you make a day of it by enjoying other projects in the vicinity or by just venturing into the lovely countryside. Our local pub in walking distance is The Old Lodge. The Hide is easily reached by car or train.
