The Poetry Salmon
An interactive art installation where visitors help complete the artwork
The poetry salmon project invites you to write haikus to decorate a shoal of papier-mache salmon. The salmon will be displayed swimming through a 'submerged' forest of branches through waves made from plastic rubbish . The words for your haikus will be taken from a selection of poems about the River Wye, by local writers. This is the first leg on the Salmon's journey to different venues along the River Wye. This event is part of the Riversong@Redbrook celebration. The project is also available free to other venues and groups near the River Wye in Gloucestershire.
