The Challenges You Don't See
You don’t always know what someone else is going through
This phrase applies not only to encounters with strangers but also to those we interact with daily. When someone struggles to express their feelings or experiences, art can become a powerful means of communication—conveying inner thoughts and emotions when words fall short.
This exhibition provides a platform for Alex Smith, Kitty-Fern Cairns, Harvey Mock, Lilly Foster-Eardley, Meg Wright, Megan Welch, Milly Aburrow, Nick Joyce, Sarah Bissett, and Xia Smith to explore and express mental health themes. Through a variety of mediums and materials, they offer unique insights into their own experiences or those of others.
Visitors are invited to view this collection from 27 November to 1 December 2024. The exhibition encourages reflection, connection, and understanding—helping viewers relate to the works and fostering compassion toward their own mental health or the challenges faced by others.
