Symbiosis: Workshops & Film Sreenings
Together We Make and Fresh Salad present a day of interdisciplinary workshops and an evening of film screenings at our showcase of creative culture
Together We Make and Fresh Salad present Symbiosis, a showcase of the creative culture in the South West taking form through a multi-media art exhibition and program of events.
Sunday 15th at St Dunstans House is dedicated to shared creative space as we embark on four distinct workshops led by some inspiring creatives. Join us as we learn the craft of loom weaving with Anna 12:00 - 13:30, create collaborative large scale collages with Lola 13:30 - 15:00, enter into the presence of our bodies with Bibi from Motion In Earth 15:30 - 17:00, and finish off with finding our words and voice through poetry with Mina 17:00 - 18:30.
You are encouraged to participate in all four of the workshops as we explore the symbiosis between these creative practices, however half day tickets are available giving you access to 2/4 workshops. The exhibition will be open from 11am and you are invited to come and engage with the body work beforehand. We will have free tea available, however please bring along any other refreshments, the nearest shops are a bit of a walk away. If you have any questions please email togetherwemakebristol@gmail.com
We settle into an evening of short film screenings from 7pm, which is free for all to participate in. We will be sharing the follow films; David Ian Bickley - Stones, 2013, Film and electronic score, Tianyun Ren - I Need Several Chairs in My Private Area, 2024, Animation and Nigel Goldsmith - Deep Water, 2023.
Please note the exhibition is open to the public from 11am until 4pm everyday.
