SOLO Art Exhibition 'Silent Narratives' by Aga Kubish ARE

Aga is an award-winning printmaker working with large botanical lino blocks and producing original hand printed limited edition prints. She uses her photography skills to make own reference photos as sketches for future projects. She finds it fascinating to translate black and white photos on hand drawn sketches for linocut print. Looking for the right composition with highly detailed patterns and textures submerged in light and shades is the essence of her art development. Her favourite subjects are complicated botanical patterns with 3 dimensions realistic effect. Aga is a founder of ART GALLERY & STUDIO by Aga Kubish in Weston-super-Mare.
Kubish was born in Poland in 1979, currently lives and works in Somerset, as a self-taught printmaker, she became an Associative Member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and has exhibited in art galleries in London, Bristol, Bath, Birmingham and Glastonbury.
