Shards of Memory
A solo exhibition by TG Freeson
Circular ArtSpace is proud to present Shards of Memory, a solo exhibition by TG Freeson — artist and founder of Circular ArtSpace. This marks her return to exhibiting after a long hiatus, in the very space she created to support hundreds of artists over the years.
In this new body of work, TG Freeson explores the interplay between light, colour, and memory. Each painting acts as a visual shard — fragments of personal, emotional, and psychological landscapes that transcend traditional representation. More than depictions of place, these works translate inner experience into colour and form, inviting viewers into a deeply reflective space.
Rooted in both technical experimentation and emotional resonance, Shards of Memory offers a poignant look at the ways memory can be held, abstracted, and transformed through artistic process.
TG Freeson lives with a rare and debilitating condition that deeply affects her daily life and creative practice. Despite these challenges, she has continued to cultivate artistic vision and community. Circular ArtSpace was born out of her desire to create a platform for artists — particularly those facing barriers due to health, disability, or marginalisation. This exhibition is not only a personal milestone, but a reaffirmation of that mission.
