Saturday Exhibition Tour - 'Inhabitings' with Dr Lucy Gundry

5 July, 1pm - 3pm

The RWA is delighted to present a one-off, exclusive deep dive into the themes of Soft Power: Lives told through textile art, expertly presented by Dr Lucy Gundry.

Connect deeper with our summer exhibition and allow Lucy to guide you through an interactive imaginative workshop, which will explore how we wear our lives in and out through our cloth(es). We will share everyday wearing experiences to talk about belonging, displacement, comfort, discomfort, desire, transformation and dreams.

After being introduced to some examples in Soft Power: lives told through textile art, you will be invited to handle everyday items of cloth(ing) including your own and share stories.

You are welcome to participate in this workshop and connect with its ideas as much or as little as you like. Please book a free ticket on our website.

This workshop is free with an RWA Soft Power exhibition ticket - please find more information about our ticket pricing at rwa.org.uk/whatson
