Jody Mulvey (she/her) is an artist and facilitator based in Scotland. As founder of @sadgrads2020, she has built a community platform for UK art school graduates who had their degree shows cancelled due to COVID-19.

For this latest CAMP talk around notions of resilience and radical care, Jody will discuss her journey since graduating; expanding on her experiences building SAD GRADS 2020 and being involved in student-led projects. At the heart of these discussions will be the importance of community and how this has helped her and her peers transition into the creative industry within the context of the ongoing pandemic.

Jody continues to collaborate nationally, with organisations such as Creative Lives in Progress, to address the issues presented to graduates transitioning into industry within the context of the ongoing pandemic. The platform has been featured on Dazed (by The White Pube), The Elephant Mag and 10 Magazine and was also nominated for two Creative Edinburgh awards for its impact on the arts.

This talk will take place on Zoom, using video & audio. There will be a Q and A session after the talk and you will be invited to contribute either by voice or text chat (though you can of course, just listen). You are very welcome to bring a support worker with you to the talk (just let us know by email after you book so we can share the Zoom link with them too). There is live on screen captioning (captions appear as people talk).

Please let us know if you have any access needs by 15 April 2021, via, so we can make arrangements
