Ruth Gillbanks Focus Exhibition
A focus exhibition featuring a collection of vibrant paintings by abstract expressionist landscape artist, Ruth Gillbanks.

Landscapes are my absolute passion and I enjoy connecting with rural seascapes and landscapes in this country. Whether painting en-plein air, or in my studio, I pull on all my senses to express an emotional reaction to the world around us."
Ruth has had a lifelong love of the countryside and lives on the edge of The Mendips in rural Somerset.
Working with different mediums and using a variety of techniques, Ruth creates wonderful atmospheric paintings that are full of energy and colour, immersing you in the scenes they are depicting whether it is a beach in Cornwall, a windswept mountain pass in Scotland or a peaceful woodland glade.
