Performance
Robin James Sullivan: 'Barrows Ablaze' End of Residency Sharing Event
Taking place at Rame Projects Studio & Pigshill Woods
Meet at Rame Project Studio at 12pm or follow directions posted on the studio door if popping by later
A celebratory performative ceramic firing and closing event led by Robin Sullivan.
To mark the end of their residency at Rame Projects, Robin will be setting a blaze a small purpose built Barrow ditch at Pigshill Woods. Bringing together their research over the last 3 months, the performance will act as an opportunity to fire all of the community ceramics created over the 3 months. It will be a relaxed and fun event, and you are welcome to pop by during the day to lend a hand, sit and take a moment or join as the day draws close for some rustic food cooked over flames and a glass of your choosing.
This day is family friendly, and as participatory as you choose. Tell your friends, bring your families, this is a chance to celebrate the spring and look towards the future whilst building fires and continuing a tradition unique to Cornwall for thousands of years. (Clay will be available on the day if you would like to make a small offering to the fire).
Please RSVP via email to rameprojectscornwall@gmail.com if attending the dinner so we can cater to numbers, please also let us know any dietary requirements.
