Robert Darch: Uncertain Landscape

Robert Darch is an artist-photographer based in the South West.

Robert Darch is an artist-photographer based in the South West. His practice is motivated by the experience of place, which is where the physical geography merges with other perceptions of place informed by contemporary culture. Darch has exhibited widely and his works are part of public and private collections. Martin Parr has acquired 39 of Darch’s works for inclusion in the Martin Parr Foundation archive.

In 2020, Darch was commissioned by Beaford Arts to document both the impact of Ash Dieback and life in North Devon as we emerged out of the pandemic. The Ash Dieback project culminates in 2025 and the selected images will form part of the Beaford Archive.
