Photographic Screen Print

You will learn how to create a design layout using a range of decorative elements and how to transfer your layout onto a silk screen using the photographic process. You will be given a piece of cotton measuring 30cm X 100cm to print onto. The tutor will demonstrate the technique of screen preparation, printing onto cotton, repeat printing, colour mixing and how to heat seal your printed fabric using a heat press once completed.

Please bring you own apron or old clothes/T-shirt to wear whilst printing. All specialist textile screen printing equipment and materials will be provided on the day. This workshop will be informative and fun! This course is for beginners, no printing or drawings experience needed.
