Pete Ward
This exhibition explores Pete Ward’s findings in his earth pigment research within the UK.
Expressions of an intimate ecology - an ongoing conversation with earth pigments in southwest England, by Pete Ward.
For the past 17 years, Pete Ward has been hand foraging and processing earth pigments from Devon and Cornwall.
This journey for him began in North Devon, where he was looking into the locally significant pigment 'Bideford Black' and since then has expanded. He has contributed to national and international exhibitions, projects and publications.
This exhibition brings together all aspects of Peter's expansive interdisciplinary creative practise.
Currently, Pete is based in West Penwith, Cornwall.
