NAIM: The Stimming Pool Film Screening x KWMC

NAIM collaborates with Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) for a film screening of The Stimming Pool, and optional tour of the Making Space.

This screening is part of Community x Arts x Tech Meetups hosted by KWMC, which welcomes creatives and technologists from Bristol and beyond who already work with communities, as well as those who are curious about getting started.

We'll be watching the film : The Stimming Pool together (70 mins) and then have a chat about the film afterwards with an optional tour of KWMC's Making Space.

12th November 2026
6-8pm, Knowle West Media Centre

NAIM is a creative network for South-west based neurodivergent artists. We have been set up by Art in Motion, who collaborate with learning-disabled and neurodivergent artists to make artwork. To find out more or keep up to date with us, check out our Instagram.

More information about the film:

The Stimming Pool is an experimental—at times fantastical—hybrid feature film, co-created by a collective of autistic artists, the Neurocultures Collective, and filmmaker Steven Eastwood, who invite you into a neurodivergent world within the undulating logic of neurotypical environments. We hope by watching the film together, it might spark ideas, new projects we could do together.

More information about the screening:

The room will be set up with tables with craft supplies on, soft seating and bean bags for people to rest and watch the film, and stimming objects to use during the film. We also have an additional quiet room setup for anyone that needs it.

The tour of the Making Space at KWMC is optional for people to learn more about the making kit at KWMC, and how to access the kit.
