Screenings
Mirrored to the Core
‘Mirrored to the Core’ – a video artwork with an operatic twist. An online panel discussion and screening.
Join us on the 8th December at 4pm to watch the short film alongside a discussion, hosted by Alys Scott-Hawkins with lead artist James Paddock, opera director Rosalind Parker, video artist Sarah Mace-Dennis, and Colin Hambrook editor Disability Arts Online about the project.
Mirrored to the Core is about two people who meet and fall in love. Communicating through ‘heard voices’ of the subconscious mind, their telepathy is represented by operatic singing accompanied by a contemporary musical soundscape. Romantically and poetically translating scientific research into video art.
Mirrored to the Core is supported by public funding through the National Lottery Project Grants from Arts Council England.
