An exhibition to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Michael Morpurgo’s best-known novel, War Horse.
To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Michael Morpurgo’s best-known novel, War Horse, a new edition of the book has been published, along with an accompanying exhibition.
The exhibition will include original book covers from across the years including the very first cover artwork by Victor Ambrus, the original manuscript, and items from the National Theatre production. There will also be illustrations from Rae Smith, the designer from the original theatre production of War Horse, and illustrations from the 40th anniversary edition by the war artist George Butler.
