The Burton at Bideford’s Art and Environment Symposium on Friday 27 June is a day of expert insights and collaborative conversations for everyone with an interest in art and the environment.
Join artist Emma Stibbon, curators, scientists, academics and local environmental organisations to discuss the role of art and artists in raising awareness of environmental issues and communicating the climate crisis, as examined in The Burton’s current exhibition 'Emma Stibbon RA: Melting Ice | Rising Tides'.
Participating organisations include The Resurgence Trust, North Devon Biosphere, Torridge District Council, The Pickwell Foundation, Earth Action North Devon and the Exeter Science Centre, with support from The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art and The Friends of The Burton.
