May Exhibitions Launch
Join us to celebrate our May Showcases featuring Chloë Morter and Kerry Johnstone on Saturday 29th April 6 – 8 pm.
Chloë creates embroidery collaged works with a focus on native birds and wildlife. Her work features the intricacy and texture of machine embroidery with layers of fabric and paper collage. Inspiration comes from nature, her surroundings and her love of illustration, pattern, traditional folk art and the arts and crafts movement.
Kerry works in a variety of media; pencil, pastel, watercolour and acrylic and is inspired to paint and interpret the landscape around her, aiming to capture what can be seen honestly, celebrating views that often don’t get much attention such as those along Devon Country lanes. She also loves to explore the open moorland, craggy rocks and gnarled trees of Dartmoor and the Southwest coast where water meets the land.
There will be supporting exhibitions in our other gallery spaces.
