About the Exhibition

Bringing together an exciting mix of painting, print, photography, textiles, and installation, this exhibition reveals hidden narratives within the English Riviera’s geological and cultural heritage. From marine biodiversity and conservation challenges to the interplay between preservation and decay at historic sites, these artists have uncovered new ways of interpreting our region’s identity.

What to Expect at the Launch

🔸 An exclusive first look at works produced during the residency, showcasing how art and science collide to tell Torbay’s Geopark story.

🔸 Meet the artists and hear about their experiences working with geologists, conservators, historians, and local communities to shape their work.

🔸 Explore immersive and thought-provoking installations, offering new perspectives on coastal conservation, ancient landscapes, and the human imprint on the natural world.

This free event is part of the Geopark Festival Weekend, celebrating the global significance of Torbay’s UNESCO designation.

We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of art, conversation, and discovery, where the landscapes of Torbay are reimagined through the eyes of its artists!
