Jason Lilley

We are delighted to announce that this June the Penwith Gallery’s ‘Studio Gallery’ will be hosting an exhibition of framed etchings by Jason Lilley. All 35 artworks will be available for sale at less than half their usual price, ranging from £50 to £150, with all money from sales going towards The Penwith Gallery Archive and Archive Collection. This money will provide much needed help towards safe storage of the artworks in the gallery’s collection, paper archival storage material and, if enough is raised, the restoration of one or more of the collection’s artworks (or hopefully at least enough to cover the cost of framing as many as possible for future display).

The Penwith Gallery’s Archive has no funding and is completely reliant upon donations. The archive’s objective is to celebrate St.Ives’ unique artistic heritage by making written material and the collection’s works of art accessible to members of the public and academics alike by exhibiting them in our ‘Hepworth Room’ and through the use of the Archive Study Room.
