January in Colour
The Annual Members’ Exhibition
January in Colour is an exhibition that transforms the grey of winter into a vibrant celebration of artistic talent, showcasing the energy and creativity of Circular ArtSpace members. The exhibition runs until 26 January and invites visitors to explore diverse works that celebrate the transformative power of colour.
The exhibition opens with "Confliction" by Gino Parisi, a thought-provoking exploration of turmoil and harmony. Parisi’s work delves into the internal struggle and the delicate balance between opposing forces, encouraging viewers to reflect on how personal conflicts can coexist with external harmony.
Next is "Pacman Ghost Swims with the Fishes" by Chris Shopland, a playful yet poignant piece exploring unexpected connections. Through the blending of digital and organic imagery, Shopland blurs boundaries, inviting us to consider surprising ways we connect with the world around us.
The exhibition concludes with "Flow" by Joanne Callaghan, an abstract exploration of emotional energy and movement. Callaghan’s work captures the raw, transformative power of colour and emotion, evoking a sense of fluidity and engagement.
The exhibition also features works by Miles Baker, Rachel Clarke, TG Freeson, Christina Godley, Louis Christian Hess, and Maria Vellanz. Together, these artists bring a rich diversity of styles and interpretations, making January in Colour a truly unmissable event.
The gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visit us in the yard behind The Crafty Egg Café at 780 Fishponds Road, Bristol, to experience this inspiring celebration of colour.
