Introduction to Etching with Annabel Hill
Come and create a delicate etching plate using dried plants as inspiration.
Join experienced printmaker, Annabel Hill from Appledore Print Studios, on this fantastic introduction to etching inspired by seed heads, dried plants and organic forms to create beautiful botanical prints. Firstly we will ‘draw’ using plant stems or feathers dipped in ink, and mark-making using seed heads and stems. Drawing this way is very freeing for those unsure of drawing, or complete beginners or those who think they can’t draw.
