Hybrid 2023 : Colour

Hybrid: 2023 is a group of 6 women artists who are also trained as art psychotherapists. We have been working with and exploring the theme of Colour for inspiration in this exhibition of new work. Our working process as a long-standing group of artists, is through a regular monthly group curation process. Where we come together for shared art-making, research, and discussions as well as developing our individual and diverse art practices. This exhibition includes our responses to Colour in the medium of abstract painting, artists' books, print-making, mixed media with raw materials, and clay-work using wild clay. The theme has provided narratives to invite us to perceive the world afresh.
