Hanging by a Thread

Textile artists Angela Knapp and Kara Chambers reflect on nature's challenges in finding habitats within and between human spaces, Angela’s hand-stitched works centre around birds that were once common during her lifetime but now are experiencing significant population decline and an uncertain future, whilst Kara uses hand sewing as a way to slow down and deepen her connection with nature, gaining insights into her own internal processes.
