Grad Race Kid's Workshop with Oops Wow Messy Art
As part of Grad Race, the current exhibition at Bridport Arts Centre, Jo from Oops Wow Messy Art will host a kid’s workshop in the Allsop Gallery
Come along to Bridport Arts Centre for an exciting and fun-filled workshop led by Jo from Oops Wow Messy Art, responding to the work featured in our current exhibition Grad Race.
Jo says:
The work in the show is funny, weird, and cool which is a great combination. You will explore a selection of pieces and have fun making your own work inspired by what you have seen. You might make wearable sculptures to fit into a new world, or extra body parts with special powers, make a picture in the shape of your favourite food or a pile of emoji’s out of clay. Come and see what grabs your imagination!
Workshops with Jo are always about having fun, trying new things and not worrying about the finished piece too much. Painting, drawing and making help us to look, to think and to see.
This workshop is ideally for kids age 6ish to 11ish, but older children are welcome. Children can be dropped off, or parents are welcome to stay and join in.
