GHT Lates: Daniel Eagle, Flossie & Blind Z

Musicians this month:

Daniel Eagle – Daniel Eagle, a singer/songwriter originally from the South of Hampshire, tours and plays many shows around the UK. His music style is compared to a male version of the likes of Lucy Spraggan, Kate Nash and Lilly Allen. Daniel’s writing and inspiration comes from everyday life and the people around him, who he either loves or respects.

Blind Z – Bringing a mixture of blues and funk with foot percussion to the party, Blind-Z really knows how to captivate an audience.

Flossie - Flossie James is a singer and guitarist based in Southampton, who combines pop, metal and country influences into a stripped back acoustic format. Flossie has performed with the Biddulph District Youth Orchestra, worked as a performer at Coyote Ugly Liverpool and at local open mic nights across the country.

For the first time at GHT Lates, we’ll be joined by Smoke & Taco, bringing unapologetically bold LA-style tacos and nachos. Expect flavour, fire, and a little bit of spice!

Exhibitions

When you’re not listening to the bands, take the opportunity to explore God’s House Tower after hours. You’ll have exclusive access to our permanent exhibition, The Stories Behind the Stones. Soak in the history and take in the rooftop views of Southampton’s Old Town.

In the gallery, we’ll have our newest exhibition, Lucky Dip. Lucky Dip brings together a collection of work by eight local artists working in multiple disciplines. From costume to collage, sculpture and installation, the work is informed by a multitude of ideas, processes and practices.
