Flamm
Flamm is a pilot visual art event led by Creative Kernow, happening 21 – 22 October 2023, Redruth, Cornwall
Flamm is a pilot visual art-led event that brings internationally and nationally important work to Cornwall, enables ambitious new work by locally-based artists and engages communities and visitors in its multi-layered programme.
For its pilot year, Flamm will be based in Redruth and will take place over one weekend in October 2023. The event will use a variety of spaces throughout the town for screenings, exhibitions, activities, talks and performances.
Four Cornwall-based artists, Sovay Berriman, Patrick Lowry, Abigail Reynolds & Then Try This, have been commissioned to present at Flamm, and the partnership with Art Night sees two major commissions from Heather Phillipson and Richy Carey arrive in Redruth.
Running at various venues in Redruth, further experimental events and projects led by local creatives and communities will also happen throughout the town during the festival weekend.
