Farewell To Arts Mansion
The very final event at Arts Mansion will be a family (and dog) friendly community day of exhibitions, live music and performance.
After eight years of creativity, collaboration and cultural programming, Artspace Lifespace are handing back the keys to Ashton Court Mansion.
May 4th will be the final opportunity to experience the Arts Mansion in its current form. All are invited to be part of this closing chapter, enjoy some live music, learn about the history of the building and try out some circus skills.
The very final event at Arts Mansion will be family (and dog) friendly with activities including an exhibition of past events, a Library Of Moments and a 3D Virtual Dereliction Tour, live acoustic music from songwriter/ guitarist David Newton and a performance by the City of Bristol Pipes and Drums band. Outside (weather permitting) there will be walkabout stilt performers from Circus Antics and circus / hula hoop workshops from the Hula Hoop Lady, plus a kids disco and arts/crafts activities inside.
Artspace Lifespace extends its deepest thanks to the artists, volunteers, audiences, neighbours and partners who have filled the Arts Mansion with energy, imagination and care.
Farewell To Arts Mansion, 11 - 4pm, Monday 4th May. Free and open to all.
