Kath Pelforth, Clare Pumfrey and Frank Wotton explore diverse approaches to forming the visual image in a range of media.
Kath Pelforth’s work, employing a range of materials and techniques, reflects on the relationship between the human figure and its environment, referencing and often contextualising found objects and materials.
Clare Pumfrey extends her work with figures, drawing and painting with a particular interest in the final image surface, and exploring the potential of losing the image in the process and regaining it, profiting from the development of traces.
Frank Wotton’s recent paintings and charcoal drawings marry historical imagery and contemporary aesthetics.
