Exeter Contemporary open 2024
New work by 15 extraordinary contemporary artists, selected from hundreds of nationwide entries.
Exeter Contemporary Open is an annual open submission exhibition, established in 2006 and hosted by Exeter Phoenix, a busy, multi-artform venue and contemporary art space situated in Exeter’s historic city centre. The exhibition provides an important national platform for contemporary visual art with an emphasis on supporting emerging talent alongside more established artists.
The selection panel for 2024 were curator and writer Jes Fernie and artist and educator Tania Kovats, who joined Exter Phoenix Gallery curator Matt Burrows.
