Create a Ceramic Geopark Scene: A Strata Stories Workshop
From the gallery walls to your own hands: Create your own ‘Strata Story’ in clay this Geopark Festival.
Part of the Strata Stories Exhibition & 2026 Geopark Festival
Step inside our immersive Geopark Experience and move from observer to maker. As part of our flagship exhibition, Strata Stories, Artizan Collective Gallery is proud to host a series of hands-on ceramic workshops delivered by studio artist Hannah Taylor.
Inspired by the geological wonders showcased in the festival, you will use professional stoneware, sand-coloured, and black clays to hand-build your own Torbay Geopark scene. These specific clays have been chosen to mirror the natural textures and earthy tones of the English Riviera, allowing you to highlight the very "strata" that define our landscape.
Whether you are inspired by the rugged cliff formations seen in the exhibition or the delicate coastal vegetation of our shores, this workshop is your opportunity to embrace our unique Geopark home in your own creative way.
