Comfy Club presents a new multimedia display including: ceramics, paintings, drawings, paper sculptures & collage

Comfy Club present ‘Shall we get ready at mine?’ an exhibition that embodies the joy of getting ready. Whether you’re
going to pre’s, a house party or going ‘out out’ the euphoria of getting ready with your friends feels uniquely part of the feminine experience. A process that is somehow both individual and collective. It gives you the ability to have time with yourself, meditate, perform self-care all while in the presence of the people that make you happiest. The act of gathering and of sharing; products, skills, gossip, your new favourite song. Comfy Club explore these themes through a
multimedia installation and by inviting you to get ready with them for their private view.
You’re hopeful for the night to come, expectations still intact and feeling good about yourself. The visceral feeling of
excitement, nerves, being in a rush, your best mates laugh. Leave the mess you made, you’ll do it when you get back (or
tomorrow). The Uber driver lets you have the aux, you all sing along getting louder and louder as you reach the
destination...
You get there and you think…
…the best part of a night out, is the getting ready.
