Clay for beginners
A comprehensive 6 week evening course on the basics of working with clay. You will learn a range of hand-building, decorating and finishing techniques
This course is suitable for those with little to no experience of ceramics or those that have completed a beginners course and wish to carry on developing their skills.
Participants will be able to select up to four final pieces to be glazed and fired in our on-site kilns.
All materials and firing costs are included.
This course is 6 x 2hr classes
Tea and coffee provided (oat milk and herbal teas included).
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on (it’ll wash out) and bring an apron if possible. Also please feel free to bring a sketchbook or source material of ceramics or designs that could show an idea of what you’d like to work towards.
