CKA Mixer: Opening Up Space: Willow Weaving Workshop at Sterts Arts & Environmental Centre
Join Sterts for a willow weaving workshop with a local artist Jasmine Fassenfelt
In the midst of this wildness, sits a circle of curiosity calling you in...
Sterts' 4-acre site offers a place where creativity and nature collide. Together, we'll explore our individual and collective creativity.
Join Sterts for a willow weaving workshop with a local artist, Jasmine Fassenfelt, to explore connectivity and how we can weave our experiences, stories and ideas as creatives in Cornwall to support and uplift one another. Together, we will explore willow weaving techniques through an eco-conscious lens.
The session will result in the shared creation of a willow sculpture that will become a way marker on our site, supporting communities and our audiences to take an active role in our green spaces and cultural activity.
Our staff team will join the event, facilitating a reflective conversation inviting Cornish artists and creatives to take a collective breath to ask 'how can we collaborate to intertwine nature and artistic practices?'.
