Botanical Print Summer School

30 workshops will take place during August, not only at Double Elephant’s studios but also in a range of community centres, bookshops, libraries and public outdoor spaces across Exeter. To keep the project as accessible as possible, workshops have a range of prices - from a £3 two-hour collagraph session to a £180 weekend screenprint or etching course. Botanical Print Summer School highlights: • Nature-inspired printmaking techniques: Choose from a huge range of techniques such as monotypes, monoprints, collagraphs, lino, stamps, etching, embossing, screenprint and cyanotypes. • Expert guidance for all ages and abilities: Ten talented artist printmaker tutors will be teaching processes they use in their own practice. There are family, adults-only, drop-in and sessions suitable for all abilities. • Field trips and botanical walks: In collaboration with Devon Wildlife Trust, several sessions include botanical walks and talks.
