‘Boats, Bedminster, Biscuits and Butchers’ is an art Installation showcasing artwork made by AIM artists as part of the Futures Past project.

The Futures Past project focused on aspects of the history of Greater Bedminster. For the project, AIM partnered with SS Great Britain to explore the relationship between the Bedminster and Bristol docks.
This event is part of Bristol Gallery Weekend, where from 20th – 23rd March 2025, Bristol galleries and art spaces come together to offer a special programme of exhibitions, activities and events. This is an opportunity to discover and explore Bristol’s world-class gallery scene, including talks, private views, family workshops and special events.
Artists involved in the project: Betty Sargent, Jonathan Barr Lindsay, Dave Pearse, Chris Rose, Louise Morgan, Beth Richards.
This project was commissioned by Gathering Voices, with funding received from Heritage Lottery Fund.
