You are invited to help create this work by joining a plant and sound gathering walk that will feed into an installation and performance
I like to make worlds that lie in a layer over this one. Using materials, objects and images from this one, and usually playing with representations of what is ‘natural’.
By bringing words and images together in incongruous ways maybe these worlds can reveal previously hidden realities and work as metonyms for hidden meanings that we already knew.
You are invited to help me create this work by entering the text on a plant and sound gathering walk that will feed into an installation in the gatehouse at Unit3. The gatehouse has become the portal to this text and this momentary world, where you will cross the herb and plant threshold to become a part of the work itself.
