Showcasing Talent — Diverse Practice
Start the new year by celebrating creativity at our Fleet Walk venue as we showcase the incredible talents of our studio artists in this dynamic group exhibition. This special event offers an opportunity to meet the artists, explore their work, and immerse yourself in the vibrant art community we’re building right here in Torbay.
Featured Artists:
• Ian Cox SWAc: A printmaker of national recognition, Ian’s work spans linocuts, mezzotints, and other printmaking techniques, and is one of our longest-serving studio artists.
• Olya Baklan: A watercolourist originally from Crimea, Olya’s work reflects a delicate balance of personal memory and artistic exploration, celebrated widely in exhibitions across the UK.
• Hannah Taylor: An artist and potter crafting unique, hand-painted stoneware vases, Hannah’s work is a joyful blend of art and function, inspired by her love of nature and design.
• Cheryll Kinsley Potter: A painter with an incredibly diverse practice, Cheryll’s landscapes, portraits, and iconography combine to tell the story of her creative journey across countries and decades.
Throughout the exhibition, you’ll have the chance to engage with workshops and demonstrations led by these talented artists, offering a deeper insight into their creative processes.
