Louise Fago-Ruskin is an artist, writer and educator living and working in the United Kingdom. Her creative practice seeks to confront particular perplexities held within firm ideological belief systems and modes of thought-control. Louise’s current research re-examining notions of the numinous within contemporary art practice alongside themes of exile, homecoming and belonging.
Louise has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at Hyères Festival of Fashion and Photography, Hyères, France; Arles Photography Open Salon, Les Recontres de La Photographie, Arles, France; and The Parsonage Gallery, Maine, USA. Louise has also been nominated for TACO Artist of the year, was the recipient of Arquetopia Foundation 10th Anniversary Scholarship Award and the Arquetopia International Mentorship Program and recently took part in the international programme entitled CURAE, hosted by PHMuseum and led by Erik Kessels.
Louise Fago-Ruskin is represented by The Parsonage Gallery in Maine, US.
