A Life being Ken Turner
The life and work of Ken Turner, a St Ives painter & performance artist. 96 this year, he set up Action Space, a Live Arts collective, in the 60’s
Ken will show a selection of his paintings and drawings from the 1960's to the present, and will talk about the importance of artists' studio practice as a philosophical tool. There will also be a live performance collaborating with dancer Stephanie Richards on Saturday 22nd October at 5pm. If there are any performance or environmental artists who would like to participate by staging their own performance or in discussion with others, please contact patwilsonsmith@icloud.com (Unfortunately there are no fees available to cover expenses) Ken will be in conversation with social anthropologist Professor Amanda Ravetz on Monday 24th October
