Spanning 5–13 December in the Pulp Room gallery space at St Anne's House,
audiences are invited to experience this tactile and inventive exhibition celebrating
the compelling black and white images, maps and art works created by the kids and
adults that are Kitchen Table Photo Club, during their residency at Nightingale Valley
in St Anne’s, Bristol during Mayfest 2024.

As part of the exhibition, audiences will keep fingers busy contributing to a
large-scale photographic collage and listen to a one off show on Thursday 5th
December entitled Hypnagogia for Holocene; a long-form lullaby of foraged sounds
and poems from sound artist and KTPC special guest t l k.

This multidisciplinary installation is both local and powerfully mystical. It’s an
opportunity to discover how, through the art of mucking around, KTPC created a
collective sense of being in an ancient, durable and transformative place.

Led by artist Esther May Campbell and a cohort of 11 young people, this specially
commissioned project involves creative contributions from Adam Hynes, Jessica
Hynes, t l k, Daniel Morden, Ashley Peevor and Chiz Williams, as well as work from
a number of photographers, academics and helpers. 378,432,000,000 Seconds Of Exposure is being presented as part of Confluence, a two part residency that explores how Bristol’s city centre is changing, commissioned by public art producers Ginkgo Projects.

If photography (especially the analogue kind) sparks your curiosity, you won’t want to miss this. If the epic potential of ‘PLAY’ calls to you, make the trip. If wild places, community clubs, ancient history, modern times, make-believe, memories, and mystery make you giddy, come down and witness 378,432,000,000 Seconds of Exposure.
