24 Masters for 24 Days
A Seasonal Exhibition at Hidden Gallery, Bristol
This December, Hidden Gallery is delighted to present ‘24 Masters for 24 Days’, a celebratory exhibition bringing together rare and important works on paper by some of the most influential artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Designed as a unique gallery ‘Advent calendar’, Hidden will reveal a different artist each day in the run-up to Christmas. The exhibition highlights 24 of Hidden’s best-loved artists, each chosen for their impact on the history of printmaking and their enduring appeal to collectors. From hand-signed etchings and lithographs to vibrant screenprints and original artists’ posters, this curated selection showcases the extraordinary breadth of modern and contemporary printmaking.
Visitors can expect to encounter works by icons such as Picasso, Matisse, Mondrian, Chagall, Hockney, Emin, Moore, Bacon, and many more. Each piece offers a glimpse into the creative processes and graphic innovations that defined each artist's practice. Whether you’re drawn to expressive mark-making, bold abstraction, or the elegance of line, the exhibition brings together something to captivate every eye. ‘24 Masters for 24 Days’ runs until Christmas Eve, offering the perfect opportunity to buy a rather special Christmas gift!
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 10am - 5pm and Sunday, 11am - 4pm (on Christmas Eve, the gallery will be open from 10am – 3pm)
