21 Group of Artists @ Artizan Exhibition Launch
Artizan Collective Gallery is excited to welcome the esteemed 21 Group of Artists to Torbay for a second year.
Artizan Collective Gallery invites you to join us for an evening with the artists as we launch their exhibition.
Formed in 1967 by painter Harry Pye, with an inaugural show hosted at Torre Abbey, the 21 Group of Artists is now one of the longest established groups of exhibiting professional artists in the Southwest exhibiting throughout the Southwest and beyond
From its inauguration the Group decided to limit itself to a maximum of 21 members in order to maintain high standards and preserve the opportunity for creative dialogue between its members. More than 50 years on, the 21 Group still places experimentation in painting at the cornerstone of its ethos and believes the exhibiting together gives members the opportunity to see what others are up, creating a fertile exchange of ideas.
We are delighted to be bringing the group back to Torbay and hope that you can join us on the evening.
