We are pleased to share a report of our work across 2025
The report includes information about how we work, our team and Steering Group, highlights from our programme and research, and plans for the future.
VASW advocates for artists and organisations both in the region and through our work with the national CVAN network.
Coming up in 2026, we’ll be supporting artists in the South West through the second round of Curator Bank, an initiative that unlocks mentoring support from curators and organisations across the region.
We’re continuing our Graduate and Early Career Resources in partnership with Universities, with further published in autumn 2025.
And we'll be launching Make Space, a new initiative that unlocks spaces within arts organisations for artists to set up, test and reflect on their work.
We would like to thank our funders and partners Arts Council England, Spike Island and CVAN.
A special thanks to our team and Steering Group who are all incredibly committed, dedicated and passionate about the development of the Visual Arts Sector in the South West.
