Studio Partner Opportunity
We are inviting expressions of interest for a co-tenancy of our print studio
We are seeking one or possibly two printmakers to join us as co-tenant partner(s). Our light, warm and well-equipped studio is based at East Quay, an arts complex that opened in 2021 in an award-winning new building on the harbour-side in Watchet, West Somerset.
The opportunity would suit an artist seeking a base for their printmaking practice with access to facilities. The studio has a new Art Equipment Ltd etching press, an 1836 Albion relief press and a vacuum press, exposure unit and wash out facilities for silk screen work. Use of all of these are shared by mutual agreement and cooperation.
There are options to teach or assist with workshops, exhibit and sell work to visitors or simply to use the studio for your own work.
At East Quay we are part of a friendly community of artists and makers, offering support and encouragement for creative development. There is a programme of cultural and community events happening at East Quay all year round, drawing many visitors to the site.
