Outside In: Talk & Creative session

An overview of the Out­side In’s work and what they do for artists who face bar­ri­ers, fol­lowed by a cre­ative workshop.

2-4pm 20 June

This event will give an overview of the Outside In charity's work and what they do for artists who face barriers, along with information about Outside In’s Step Up training programme and Artist Development. We will also hear from an Outside In Ambassador about their experience working with the charity over the years.

This will be followed by an opportunity to work creatively together through a workshop with an Outside In workshop leader.

About Outside In:

Outside In provides a platform for artists who encounter significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance, or isolation. It is an important and rare example of an organisation with national reach championing the work of artists excluded from the art world; and provides a platform for artists who encounter significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance, or isolation. Outside In was formed in 2006 at Pallant House Gallery and won the Charity Award for Arts and Heritage in 2013 and the Queens Award for Voluntary Services in 2022. It became an independent charity in 2017 and gained National Portfolio Organisation status with the Arts Council England in 2018. https://outsidein.org.uk/
