Call for artists
OPPORTUNITY TO RUN THE CERAMIC STUDIO AT CAST
CAST is seeking a ceramic artist to take on the role of tenant and manager for the fully equipped ceramic studio, Brickworks at CAST.
Rosanna Martin, the ceramic consultant behind the studio's successful launch, is now embarking on a new journey to pursue a PhD. In light of this transition, we are actively seeking an energetic and enterprising ceramic artist to carry forward the development of this self-sustaining studio, building upon the strong foundation that Rosanna has helped establish.
We hope that the selected artist will use the studio for their own professional practice and, with other ceramicists, run paid courses, classes and open access sessions, using their expertise and judgment to devise a viable and sustainable business model for the long-term operation of the studio.
CAST will support the artist to make contacts with local schools, organisations and community groups, and will seek funding to enable the ceramic studio to offer opportunities for community participation as part of its economy, as well as assisting with general marketing through CAST’s monthly newsletter and social media platforms.

Expressions of interest are welcome without delay, with a submission deadline set for 9 am on Monday, September 4th.
