Opportunity: Become a Non-Executive Director at OSR Projects CIC

OSR Projects was established in 2011 and registered as a Community Interest Company in 2019. We currently have five directors on our board, all with varying skills and would like two more individuals who have experience in one or more the following areas which will add value to our existing board:

• Experience in the creative sector (either as a professional artist or working for an arts organisation)

•Experience/ knowledge of applying for / managing grants from public bodies (Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Trust, British Film Institute, etc) and private trusts and foundations (Esmee
Fairburn, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, etc)

• Experience in developing a financial strategy

• Knowledge of and interest in collaborative working and artist run initiatives

•Experience in showing and sharing leadership either in a formal role or informal

• Experience/ knowledge in marketing, communications, copy writing or public relations

• Interest in the social model of disability, or lived experience of disability

• Ideally based in Somerset or the South West

Your commitment will involve:

• Reviewing documents related to funding or other bids within your expertise

• Working on a future proofing strategy for OSR Projects CIC

• Offering advice, options, and connections

• Supporting our activities by attending events and exhibitions

• Advocating for our organisation and its activities

OSR Projects was founded by Simon Lee Dicker and Chantelle Henocq.

Current board members are: Jo Bickerton, Simon Lee Dicker, Susie Clark, Chantelle Henocq and Sam Jukes.

Term of office is four years (Voluntary). We ask that board members attend quarterly meetings and an AGM in person, these are usually a duration of 2 hrs. We aim to hold meetings at times that take into consideration work and personal commitments.
